La Superba" wins. Many Sardinians among the top 10.

Arzachena, May 29, 2012. The crew of the Circolo Velico of Marina Militare, with Ignazio Bonanno at the helm, Francisco Linares committed to the mast, Simone Scontrino as tailers, Massimo Gherarducci tactical/central and Branciforte Alfredo at the bow, they were awarded for the second consecutive year to the title of Italian Champion of J24, the class of the world's most popular one-design. This concludes the Italian Open Championship which got underway this May 25, organized by the Club Nautico Arzachena and the Italian Class J24. The event is supported by the,

Today both the sun and wind were stable at 12-13 knots from the east, perfect conditions that allowed to perform quickly the two races. Nine in all the activities carried out from Saturday until today.

Besides the Italians were in the water 10 Germans boats, 1 British, 1 Brazilian, 1 American, 1 Swedish, 1 Greek, 1 Hungarian and 1 from the Principality of Monaco.

From tomorrow all of them will be involved in the J24 European Championship, which ends June 3.
Foreigners dominate in the overall classification. Overall first with Mike Ingham 11th Hour Racing, Alexandre Saldanha on Bruschetta, reigning world champion, while the third step of the OPEN list is helmed by Keith Witthemore on Furio.
